Don't get me wrong, at the beginning of the year, I looked at these two games as likely losses. I'm not upset that we lost, but rather the fact we weren't competitive.
And as for recruiting, i know stars mean squat. My point is, we were recruiting the same guys as everyone else. Did we just happen to whiff on all the really good 4 and 5 star players? And in return we got a bunch of over-rated slugs? I don't follow recruiting all that close, but I do know that UF commits tend to be dropped in recruiting rankings, so you would think we would have more 'diamonds in the rough' than other teams. I also know that we have had a larger than normal attrition (will provide analysis later), and that has left us short on upperclassmen for leadership and short on scholarship players for depth (we have fewer scholarship players than USCw who is on probation). I don't mind the losses, and I understand the injuries, all part of the game. It is just very disappointing to me that we are 3 years removed from a national title and we have to rebuild.
