Nick Sabin lost to Louisiana Monroe his first year at Bama, went undefeated the next year until the SEC title game, won the NC the 3rd year. Bob Stoops - was very average his first year, 7-5, 6-6 type of team, won the NC his 2nd year. Urban Meyer - got clobbered by Bama and LSU his first year, won the NC the 2nd. I'm not saying or predicting a NC next year, but Muschamp has to install his system, get a few of his own players, weed out any undesirables and establish his imprint on the program, that doesn't happen in 10 months, simply based on history of other coaches who were established, much less their first job. It will help that the other 2 major programs in Florida are also down right now, Miami is likely headed for NCAA troubles, which will keep them down for awhile. FSU fans have resorted to calling Jimbo Fisher - Jimbo Zook. IMO FSU has internal problems, I've been told that Fisher has more control of the Athletic Dept than the AD, he basically is calling all the shots with respect to budgeting, fund raising, etc....your basic dictator. We have talent at UF, but not the overall talent that Bama and LSU have, one thing that shows up by playing Bama and LSU is they expose all your weaknesses, especially with a true freshman at QB. With all changes there is a transition, the worst thing than can happen now is to start trying place blame or question coaches, let it play out, in year 3 if we are losing to bad teams like Zook's 3rd year then we make changes, but until then, let's relax and see what happens.
