Doh! Yes, looking at the subject line I see he wrote: 509.

3c509 and 3c509B are supported.  These are 10mbps ISA cards.
There were/are available in many different versions (BNC, Combo and TP).

The major issue with this card is the configuration, (there is a 
section in the manual about this card).

1. You need to insert the cards into your GNAT Box.
2. Make a bootable diskette with DOS on it.  Add the 3Com utility 
3c5xCFG.EXE to the diskette.
3. Boot the DOS disk.  Run the 3c5xCFG.EXE program and for each card:
    - disable plug and play
    - press the autoconfig button

This will config the cards to play nice with each other.

4. Boot GNAT Box and things should be OK.
