Hi Aday,

It sounds like Gears for Safari is installed correctly on your system, this
means that you should be able to use Gears-Enabled sites in Safari. Firefox
uses a separate installer (to enable Gears in Firefox visit
http://gears.google.com and follow the installation instructions).

Could you try following the instructions for using Google Reader and Google
Docs offline:

For reader: http://www.google.com/help/reader/offline.html
For docs: http://documents.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=15134&hl=en,
specifically the "Enabling Google docs offline" page (
http://documents.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=92249&topic=15877).

If those don't work, please go to (
http://code.google.com/apis/gears/samples/hello_world_database.html), does
visiting that URL in Safari yield a dialog asking for permission to use
Gears?

Best regards,
Jeremy
