        I think the use of the word "stories" is appropriate. Why not cite
actual occurrences otherwise?

        Ah yes, just like the geckos do in the wild with all thier insect
prey.

         Crush the heads of crickets too?!?! Besides the fact that many
keepers/breeders go through thousands of crickets each week and this would
just not be possible, many reptiles will only respond to moving  prey.
