I don't think people are trying to criticize you personally. They just
don't agree with your advise. I work as a veterinary nurse and I do not
give out correct (or incorrect) drug dosages. I am not a doctor, and I
could be held liable. Here in CA, a veterinarian is also not allowed to
prescribe drugs to an animal that they have not seen. It is illegal. This
is for the animals, client, and doctors safety. I understand that people
often won't take animals in to a vet, but that does not make giving out
medical advise any more legal.
With that said I don't think anyone wants you to stop posting to the list.
The list is supposed to be a fun place to converse with other gecko people.
There is a lot to be learned from the people on this list and every member
has things contribute.
