Ok, one more question, what is everyones take on using artificial plants instead of real ones in your terrariums. The reasons I feel reluctant to use real ones are contamination (pesticide) and keeping the tank clean. It's a lot easier to keep a clean tank using paper as substrate vs. soil etc. :) Am I right about this, or? And more specifically, for Day Geckos, what type of plants do you use? Do you prefer potted plants, or do you plant them in the substrate? anyone with artificial plants?
