Well, there are a few variables that come into play here. It depends where
you live in relation to the equator, and also what type of material you let
your Reptisun 5.0 penetrate.
Those numbers are percentages of what source you use. So, yes, 64% UVB
from the sun would normally be more than the percentage of the 5% UVB from a
Reptisun 5.0, depending on time of year, and as I said earlier, your
latitude.
If you live more than 40 degrees above or below the equator, the UVB
exposure from the sun will not be strong enough during the winter months,
and you should use another UVB source.
