UV-T Plexi has to be replaced quite often to maintain it's effectiveness. 6mos is recommended by labs but you could probably push it to 12. A better solution would be to only have UV-T in the path of the sun with low FE glass or normal plexi making up the rest. Check out the manufacturer's claims individually (require them to provide a % throughput for the thickness you plan to use at a baseline of the UVB you care about) as not all UV-T is created equal.
