I don't know the exact percentages, but UV will be blocked by the glass. If I
remember correctly, MOST of the more useful UVB will be lost.
Same thing applies to sunlight through glass. And remember- sunlight through
a glass tank can quickly raise cage temperatures to deadly levels.
They make cage glass that is made to pass UV rays. Screen tops filter some
but not all UV, and thats what I use.
And many of us move enclosures outdoors, which allows natural UV exposure.
(Thru the screen) Again remember, animals can quickly overheat.
