Hi! I was looking through some old papers, and I came across there numbers, published by William H. Gehrmann. According to his research papers, window glass would let 78% UVA and only 5% UVB radiation through. Plexi-glas (UV-T) would let 89% UVA and 64% UVB through. Galvanished mesh, depending on thickness (from 0.13" to 0.5") would let anywhere from 67-82% UVA and 71-83% UVB.
