Thanks for the info. They were looking under the Droncit
name.
Cestodes were confirmed on a fecal. The gecko is acting odd
(see
earlier U. guentheri posts).
Any idea about how much coenzyme Q10 to give a gecko
weighing
less than 10grams?
The dose I have for Droncit is 5-10mg/kg, depending on the
source.
The vet gave me a higher dose of 20-30mg/kg, I have a
feeling
they're referring to older literature.

Hi Again Neil,
My vet also does does cats/dogs, they've called other clinics
as well and haven't found anything. Sometimes the staff
gets confused if it goes under a different trade name.

Praziquantel is the name of the drug and not a brand name to the best of my knowledge. Droncit is the commonly used form for cats and dogs and just about any vet has it. I just dont like this drug as it is easily over dosed in small animals.
