I've had to collect my own snails, but you might be able to find
an escargot supplier in your area that may have juvenile snails
that will do. They will eat Zoomed's Can O' snails, but the shell
is missing, so you'd still need to supplement. You only need a couple
snails per month to make a big difference. If using oral supplements,
administer several drops of Ca/D3 mixed with water until it has
the consistency of milk (Miner-All will work) once every week or two.

You don't need to handle them to give supplements, just use
an eyedropper and some patience. Eventually they will get used
to it and lick droplets off the end of their snout. Generally it's
only the females that require this. I hand feed them with blunt forceps
when using large insects that can burrow (large roaches, superworms).
Gentle handling while moving for cleaning should not cause any harm.
If there in my way, I just gently pick them up and move to another part
of the cage.

Once they settle in, they can be quite calm, but I don't recommend
unnecessary handling.

Best of luck
Neil
