Oh dear this topic is so sad. Freezing, think of how it feels when we have frostbite, they have to feel at least a bit of that even if they are small... The pain of an injection, well, I had to do this with my african fat tail a few months ago. We tried meds and everything to get him better and he was plainly suffering and when they gave him that needle, I cried for 2 hours cuz he winced when my vet gave it to him. But the peace afterwards and I felt I did the right thing.
