Sherron from Hawaii has recently requested info on the least physically painful way to put geckos down when it appears nothing can be done to either improve or sustain their lives. I have heard that freezing is *not* the way to go. Can someone out there recommend the best way for small lizards?
No, freezing is not the way to go, that method is also banned in my country. Apart from taking it to the vet, the other methods are somewhat gruesome, shooting or *hard* hit to the head. So, for a small lizard you'd hold it against some hard surface and hit it over the head with some blunt object.
