Yes, I think the above (your) orientation is correct.

Using pcb-symbols-jcl_2006-8-20.tgz pcb shows this WRONG layout
of CON_USB_TYPEB__Keystone_924 looking down at the component
side of the PCB:

   FRONT of CONNECTOR

          1 2
          4 3

I think my Assmann connector is identical to keystone_924.
(Access to Assmann datasheet is possible using
http://www.assmann.com/htdoc/int/index.htm )

The datasheet for the Molex 67068 USB Type B connector (and the gif
link sent by Mark) defines the PCB pinout. One difference between the
Molex and the Keystone connector is
the body length. The Molex connect is 17mm long the Keystone is 16mm
long. You should check the Assman specification to verify the length.

I made the following corrections to CON_USB_TYPEB__Keystone_924.

 * Corrected the pinout --- the pin rows were swapped
 * Moved the refdes closer to the component edge.
It is now 10mils from the body silkscreen edge.
 * Changed the pad size from 70mils to 66 mils to increase
the pad-to-pad spacing from apx. 7.5mils to apx. 11.5mils

The corrected footprint is below (and on the website) and the changes are in
the changelog.
