Andreas, can you time the tests that switch cpus repeatedly separately? I ran
one se (30.eon) and one fs (x86 pc-o3-timing) test and did not find much
difference. I want to test the hypothesis that a major slowdown has occurred
in those switch cpu tests.
I ran the pc-switcheroo-full test with and without the patch, three times
each. I got almost similar execution times for all the runs.
With out the patch: 20m38.406s 21m14.388s 20m30.755s
With the patch: 21m0.801s 20m40.340s 20m33.649s
Andreas, can you time each test individually and figure out which
regression test(s) are worse off?
