Mitch, other students around me have pointed it before that at times, from my responses, it seems that I am angry, or that I am being sarcastic. All of these opinions, including yours, are true to some extent. I think the quality of my response is a function of the quality of discussion taking place. I believe I show such an attitude if the person at the other end of the discussion makes comments that they do not want to explain, they do not want to do what they are being asked to do or the level of discussion deteriorates so much that it makes me feel appalled. This discussion thread is a case in point. Several times I have thought of desisting myself from responding to any of the queries asked on this list. But then most of the queries end up with out any responses. I do not like that situation either, more so since I am aware of answers for many of the queries. I sincerely believe that I am making a positive contribution. Therefore, I am going to keep my attitude and respond, rather than be polite and not respond at all. -- Nilay _______________________________________________ gem5-users mailing list [email protected] http://m5sim.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gem5-users
