I am not sure how the discussion deteriorates so much until this point. I feel bad if anything makes you feel appalled, whether pipeline can be ticked in reverse order or my grammar mistakes" -- as it is not actually "parallel" between stages". What I meant was if a pipeline stage needs anything from any other stage at the same cycle, which I was not sure if this could happen since I am not a hardware person, the operations performed on the hardware units in these two stages can not be truly parallel due to the dependence. The mailing list is an open place for all-level users to discuss gem5. If you don't like the discussion, you can spend time in other places -- I know you've been busy in the developer mailing list. It's so unwise to tell anyone who shows interests in gem5 to stay away from it.
