Just to add -

COX will probably not do a reverse DNS PTR for you - which some mail systems
require in order for them to accept mail from your domain.

I am doing this because I have had 3 hosting companies in a row want me to
purchase a dedicated server or cancel my account because of the amount of
resources my site uses. That would be way out of my price range.

If I host my own servers I will have full control and won't have to deal
with this again.

Also, I have a Cox Business account and I can run servers. I already have
them setup and can access them all via my IP address.

I have control over my domain at my registrar so I could make changes there.
I was hoping to run my own DNS server but if that is not possible I guess I
could use my registrar.

So, is that the case? I am not able to host my own DNS server like I
wanted? If not, I guess I have to do the reverse DNS pointer?
