Dedicated servers can be reasonable - in the $100 to $200 a month range for
a decent server.  I use FDC Servers, as they have unlimited bandwidth - but
there are others.

I know where you are coming from as I was bumped from 1&1 and a couple of
others before going to FDC and getting a dedicated server.

If you site gets a lot of traffic, you may run into bandwidth issues hosting
it yourself.

In any event, I would use the DNS at your registrar to point to your servers
(www.gremlinradio.com -> 70.169.82.143, mail.gremlinradio.com ->
70.169.82.143, etc.).  Don't forget to modify your MX record for e-mail
purposes.   I am not sure if Cox will add a reverse PTR for you, but I
believe they are the ones that have to do this - I know I had to have FDC
add the reverse PTR for me.

I am going to check with Cox on the reverse pointer now.  Correct me if I am
wrong but it is for the e-mail server?  I just want to understand enough so
I can ask them what I need to.
