Well 5.0 Installs Standard under Program Files... the old ones were in MYSQL... tried a complete after tape backup install... No Good. Same thing.. is there anything else I can do or should I just log a ticket? I have too much configured to just blow away this pc from scratch. If I knew how to bring up the command shell I could atleast try to get the databases up and running

However that may not even help your situation as migration from mysql 3 -> mysql 5 will undoubtedly have some unexpected issues. My advice, start fresh and clean, if you need access to old stats from mysql 3, keep it installed on another machine thats not mission critical but affords you access to the data when needed.
