Howdy Neal, Welcome to BRLUG. We are not Linux-only oriented. We are interested in most anything UNIX and free|open source software related.
I use OpenBSD for a firewall/NAT box at home. That was my first exposure to *BSD. I'm very impressed with the small and clean filesystem architecture. It helped me to understand the UNIX architecture in general, in that I could "get my arms around" the filesystem concepts, whereas some distros with the kitchen-sink-included approach was confusing at first. I'd like to see more presentations on *BSD stuff; would you be interested in giving a demo or writing an article of some kind?
