Hi everyone: I have hear talks about the Dual Matrox G450 in the group. I think Matt uses one.
I would like to purchase one; however I am not sure which one to get, the AGP or the PCI. I really do not know the difference between the two. However, the PCI would not require me to build support for the card in the kernel which leads me to believe it might be a better choice. or is it not? Any advice would be appreciated. If there is another card that supports 2 monitors in the range of $20 $30 I would love to know about it as well. This is about the price of this one in ebay with 16MB and $35 -$50 with 32MB. Is there an advantage to having 32 instead of 16? All I require is 2D for two 21'' monitors at 1600x1200 each. If there a difference between the AGP breed from the PCI? Also, if I have two of this cards, can I have 4 monitors? This would be really nice if I could do this. I would have to purchase the other 2 first and some serious furniture to accommodate all these stuff. thanks, Alvaro Zuniga Thanks.
