I would suggest for $30-$50 range you might as well get a nvidia 5200 from www.newegg.com for AGP to work you will need to have an AGP slot to begin with
Advantages of going nvidia #1 their own compiled drivers are available from www.nvidia.com for linux (both 2.4.x and 2.6.x) --> very simple to install #2 it's a newer card (which means it supports DVI ,which might be better if you get a fancy LCD) #3 you can get them in both 128M and 64M (128 is definitely better) Do a search on newegg for Fx5200 BTW I have 2 nvidia cards and both of them support dual monitors (I use "Xinerama" at home...the nice part is it even does 3d on both monitors - 1280x1024 x 2).
