I am sorry that you have chosen to be belligerent on this matter, but I still assert that it's not relevant.
The notion of "I just want it to work, regardless of what OS I use" is rather counter-productive to the notions that have driven Linux development from the very beginning. In short, you haven't provided me with anything other than the assertion that you are a "veteran" of this group, and so this gives you the right to post something which, to me, another member of this group, finds repugnant. If, indeed, this is a group-wide opinion, and I am indeed, in the wrong, then perhaps BRLUG is not what I thought it was from the beginning; not to cast aspersions on the group, because the group is very noble in their sentiment, and has stood behind every value that I, as a Linux advocate, hold dear and true. It is only brought to light by your assertion that you are "an active member of BRLUG and have been for a number of years", and why it is important to this discussion. Perhaps you might explain that to me. David Terry Stockdale wrote: > Thanks, David.
