Sorry, David. You're way off base on that one. I invited a small group of friends who might be interested inbmy HTPC/PVR presentation. The post was relevant to and used the same "subject" as the ongoing timeshifting, PVR & PVR-250 discussion. You chose to take written exception in the mailing list to that invitation, apparently because I don't use Linux on the box. Fine. You don't need to come. A nicer response would have been to ignore the invitation. However, you also had an "I may be wrong about BRLUG" comment. If you think BRLUG members are intolerant "advocates" and don't like or use other OS's, then look around, talk around, find out how many are admins for Win networks at work or use or support Win boxes at home, as well as using BSD, Unix, Solaris or even Mac. We're enthusiasts. Some few use Linux exclusively. We range from hobbyists to professionals with respect to our Linux use. I just deleted my point-by-point rebuttal of your last message, as neither your message nor mine did anything positive for my blood pressure. As our moderator would say "this thread is closed." On my system, this thread now filters to "Trash." Terr
