Bob,
I downloaded as you suggested from the jwiki link, but after opening the
.dmg file and moving its contents to my home directory, I cannot open
jconsole or jqt (haven't tried jhs) because I get the error message
'"jconsole" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the
Trash.'
I have tried it by downloading 2 separate times with a shutdown in between.

I did notice that my earlier downloads of jsystems were .zip files, not
.dmg files.
I got the warning that I was launching a file (jconsole) from an unknown
source (after the required "right-click" opening) and said to launch
anyway. (Btw the warning about the need to right-click is NOT part of the
instructions, and likely should be added.)

I am using El Capitan which is older than Sierra, so the special
instructions do now apply to me.

*******So, I need access to the non-beta version that will work for me.
Maybe that is the .zip version which I cannot find just now.
