Many things were discussed, Peter, including suggestions from people who
are not part of the Commons right now, but the only "standardisation"
that made it into the charter is:
"All necessary dependencies must be recorded in the MANIFEST.MF file of
the package JAR, in the manner recommended in the JDK 1.3 documentation
describing 'system extensions'. "
We have a number of "best practices" guidelines, but that is the Jakarta
trend now. Witness the directory layout discussions.
