But the idiot page takes almost no effort at all. That's why it is so great, you can even setup a macro in your mailer to reply with that URL as a message, when you, say, see something that is not only on the wrong list, but is WELL addressed in documentation, FAQs, HOW-TOs mailing list archives, and all that... > and politely remind them to next time redirect their questions to the > proper list.
