JDom is an odd choice to support your side of the argument. JDom going the JSR route has killed forward progress on it for at nearly a year. It could have been a year of furious effort on their parts during which great advances were made, or they could have simply s/org.jdom/javax.xml.jdom/g and wasted the rest in burachracy ...
