That's a really good point, and one which more than anything else has raised a doubt in my mind as to the benefit of retaining the Jakarta brand. 2/ It seems that we have a consensus forming around the idea that it would be worthwhile retaining some resources in a low-maintenance way. However its not clear where the ownership of these would lie. I like the idea that http://jakarta might aggregate news content from java projects.
