hi all, i'd rather discuss this during next meeting, however here's my "gershain" (and that's all the money your getting out of me, hehehe)
the greater issue is what are you going to get when the lug becomes a paid-for thing? i'm not making fun/challenging anyone, i just want to know what would you like to have/see in the lug that would make it more accessible/useful. although paying for "admission" would place a lot of stress on the quality/quantity of the whole thing. what i mean is, when you pay for something you expect a good deal in return. if you meant more lectures, well they were free for all and few people came to even justify the effort! a while back some members suggested that we become part of the Jordan Computer Society, but as usual the idea withered away :-( i don't have a clue what JCS does but at least they are a legal entity (at least i think so!) that could provide us with facilities or whatever your looking for in a paid-for environment! btw i did enjoy/learn from the presentations that we held in ITU, i vote for getting them back :-) if enough people are interested! and i also did anjoy/learn from our social gatherings as well. btw, here's a good read on what lug responsibilities/activities are: http://www.linux.org/docs/ldp/howto/User-Group-HOWTO.html /dev/aram --- Amer Abu Gharbieh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > hi Mr.Ala'a Ibrahim, > what r u talking about ?
