The U.S. foreign policy, with the exception of the Marshal Plan, has been a disaster
for a long time. It seems to be a quick fix for political motives rather than a long term
plan for the economic and social improvement of the united States. And, in the global
economy what's good for one is good for all (isn't it?).
The U.S. has screwed up with our Constitutional Rights several times in my lifetime. The interment of the Japanese that were American citizens in WWII and, Senator Nixon,
J. Edgar Hoover and Senator McCarthy in The Communist Hunt that ruined the lives of
many people, to name two, that probably had no beneficial or constructive benefits. Now
John Ashcroft is at it again.
Also, Colin Powel, for whom I HAD a great deal of respect, presented fraudulent
evidence at the United nations and nobody in the administration, that I heard, apologised.
Another thing that gives me great concern with our administration is a Christian President
who, as I understand thatfaith, must observe the 10 Commandants, thou shall not kill, and
Christ's words , turn the other cheek, begins a war. No where in the 10 Commandmants
is there a pre-emptive clause for self defense.
Just my humble thoughts. Bob
