You could use the "Host"-key, which is usually "Right Ctrl" and then F7 to 
switch the tty, iirc.

We will need to take a close look on this, most probably it is an error in the 
packages, also I have not seen this problem during my installs.

Where are you located at? The geo-repo server redirected you to another mirror 
closer to your location. I am just trying to figure out your "real" mirror. 
This geo-repo should not be used anymore and I have fixed this for the next 
release already. 

Could you try a more specific mirror?

This is a quite old image, and it is in our repos just for historical purposes, 
so please do not report any problems with these anymore. But there was a 
solution for your problem as well, but I cannot remember it right now.
