Hi Bjarke,
The meetings of the TehLUG takes place every other Wednesday, I think the next of one is this week.
There are a lot of Linux and Linux related projects going on at the moment, several Iranian based distros, and many other projects, to be honest I'm not familiar with many of them.
And about the challenges ahead, I have to say, an email wont suffice! there are a lot of challenges ahead, both cultural and economical!
