Salaam everyone Thank you for your answers. I would like to meet you and discuss. Only on January 1 2013 I am unavailable. Do you meet other wednesdays or other days? Or maybe at work or studying? We could meet for tea :-)
I am happy to hear that there are several active LUGs. In Denmark we are discussing the demise of the LUGs because now Linux is very easy to install etc and there is a fragmentation because FOSS is becoming more mainstream but also specialized in specific projects. But many activists want to build the greater open source community and also be part of the international community. Your concerns are our concerns. I have heard before about parsix, but I suppose you are also active in many global projects and distros because of the open nature of FOSS. I would be happy to hear more about specific projects you are engaged in or proud of. Do you think that FOSS is becoming more accepted also in Iran?
