Have you tried system console by using this kernel boot command line:
console=ttyS0,115200n8 ?

Subject: Re: [Tizen General] Not able to get serial terminal after tizen fs
mount.

Hi Ravi,
Thanks for the response. I have already made changes in inittab file as
con:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -L 115200 ttyO0 vt100 where ttyO0 is used on
serial port for TI platform.
My problem is that the file system is mounting properly but only serial termina
shelll is not getting prompted. The file system build is for armv7l which by
default takes ttySAC2 for samsung exynos. ttyO0 is used for TI. Is there
mismatch here? I mean I am waiting for response from ttyO0 but it is logging
onto ttySAC2?
Can you please tell me what kind of changes I need to make in order to build
mic image for a TI platform?

Thanks again for the help.

Hi Abhishek,
For enable serial console..
you have to Check in /etc/inittab file, serial console enabled or not.
If it is not enable, then you should enable that line.
Regards,
Ravi

Hi all,
I am trying to bring up Tizen on Ti platform. Currently I am able to compile
the linux 2.6.37 kernel, created fs image using mic for armv7l. Kernel loads
properly but file system initialization is not happening properly and hangs.
After giving message
Started Connection service [ OK ]
Starting WPA Supplicant daemon...
Started Login Service                                                     [  OK
 ]
Started WPA Supplicant daemon [ OK ]
eth0: no IPv6 routers present

I want to get shell to debug the issues. Can anybody let me know how to get
shell in tizen? I am using ttyO0 and giving the same as argument while booting
up.

I have attached the file for reference.
Please help me solve the issue.

Thanks
