Hi Abhoshek, I've taken TI-Ubuntu kernel and enabled SMACK form the kernel configuration. To get the shell on serial console I've changed /etc/inittab entry as earlier mentioned this same mail thread. To bring up the UI, there are some Xserver packages like xf86omap , libdrm_omap stuff like that, These packages I've compiled and installed in Tizen RFS. This is very brief info, we are planning to release the detailed document soon. Thanks, Venkat Raju. -----Original Message----- From: "abhishek tejaswi" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 6, 2013 11:25am To: [email protected] Cc: "Wang, Ning W" <[email protected]>, "ravi kumar" <[email protected]>, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Tizen General] Not able to get serial terminal after tizen fs mount.
Hi Ning, I have already used the console=ttyO2,115200n8 in the boot argument but it still hangs. Hi Venkat, Have you made any changes in the kernel/fs for TI platform. I have made changes in usr/lib/systemd and etc/systemd. Have you made any changes in rootfs while building for panda board? Please help to solve the issue. Have you tried system console by using this kernel boot command line: console=ttyS0,115200n8 ? Hi Ravi, Thanks for the response. I have already made changes in inittab file as con:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -L 115200 ttyO0 vt100 where ttyO0 is used on serial port for TI platform. My problem is that the file system is mounting properly but only serial termina shelll is not getting prompted. The file system build is for armv7l which by default takes ttySAC2 for samsung exynos. ttyO0 is used for TI. Is there mismatch here? I mean I am waiting for response from ttyO0 but it is logging onto ttySAC2? Can you please tell me what kind of changes I need to make in order to build mic image for a TI platform? Thanks again for the help. If it is not enable, then you should enable that line.
