Dear all,

With the help of the group here and with a LOT of time with the documentation
on Exhibit, I have recently completed building a Timeline-centric Exhibit that
a survey English lit course will use at Central Connecticut State Universty.
You can see the Exhibit at
http://www.english.ccsu.edu/jones/timeline/victoriantimeline.html. There isn't
much data yet, but as the students begin populating the Google Spreadsheet
(http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=poGnp6rfDj_CIxTvJm-uyXw), then it will
start to be appear more intriguing.

You can read my blog about this project at
http://ecitadventures.blogspot.com/2008/01/timelines-redux.html. You can also
read the blog post from the person I collaborated with (Jason Jones) at
http://www.jbj.wordherders.net/2008/02/04/online-timeline-builders/.

I made extensive notes in the source of the timeline, and, as I say in my blog,
I'm no working on extensive documentation on how to build such a
Timeline-Exhibit for those who have even lower coding skills than I do.

Any comments or advice is welcome on my or Jason's blog or in this thread.
Brian
