it's a fair indication that there may be something wrong with your system.

all of the Blackbox items i noted compiled, installed & have been running
without any problems at all on my system, which is upto-date & mainline.
i have been using Blackbox as my everyday desktop manager for c 6 weeks
& have found it utterly reliable, certainly more so than Xfce4 was.

good. again: all you know is that they don't work on your own system.

obviously, but you've offered no reason to include any of the items
which i listed as fully usable in that category.
Blackbox & the add-ons i use are neither pointless nor broken in any way;
Blackbox itself is being actively developed by Brian Hughes at Trolltech,
with a new version 0.70 due out in the near future.

no, you do one yourself: you're the one making extraordinary claims,
which don't seem to match anyone else's experience.

are you refering to any of the pieces which i listed as usable ?

what an extraordinary statement ! you think a lack of bug reports
shows that no-one cares about a package ???

this is wasting my time, if not yours & other people's.
i suggest you keep the pieces i have pointed out are fully usable
-- blackbox bbconf bbkeys bbpager bbrun commonbox-utils --
& any others which other people have said they use & drop the remainder.

if you are simply feeling overworked,
the correct approach is to say so explicitly & honestly
& ask for someone to volunteer to take over some of your tasks.
i've already offered to consider maintaining the 6 packages above myself,
depending on what is required & what skills i can contribute or learn.
