your comments re Blackbox & the other 5 packages in question
continue to be quite at odds with the reality of Gentoo bug listings.
there's 1 open bug for Blackbox itself, in no way critical;
there are also 2 announcements listed as 'new'.
there's 1 open bug for Bbkeys, rather trivial.
there is 1 'new' bug each for Bbconf & Openbox-utils,
but they also appear to be announcements & anyway concern PPC & AMD64.
there are no open bugs for Bbpager & Bbrun.
there is no basis whatsoever in Gentoo bug listings for your rants.
i do understand if you are simply not interested & feel overworked,
but these 6 packages all seem to be well-maintained upstream
& need very little attention from Gentoo developers.
i hope another qualified developer is willing to take them on.
i would be willing to donate my own time, if i have the knowledge,
but according to your account it takes more hoop-jumping than that.
