I've been running gcc-3.3 for the past week.  Seems O.K. to me...I'm 
using gcc-config to handle to it, as I installed 3.3 into a different 
slot from 3.2 (so both are installed, switch between the 2 via 
gcc-config).  I had to edit the ebuild to put it into a different 
slot.
