I have build and boot 2.5.70. Everything is fine, with some exceptions:
Sound in ut2003-demo is strangely distorted.
To install alsa-driver I had to change the gcc line in
linux/include/linux/compile.h
from #define LINUX_COMPILER "gcc (VERSION) 3.3 (Gentoo Linux 1.4, PVR 3.3)"
to #define LINUX_COMPILER "gcc (GCC) 3.3 (Gentoo Linux 1.4, PVR 3.3)"

And:Since 2.5.70 I have some problems with sound permissions.

Ok, back to 2.4.21_rc2-gss.. which build fine with gcc 3.3...

Glck Auf,
Volker
