Hi Colin,   You can extract the X and Y's from a grid but not from the contour group. To extract the values from a grid you can use Grid/Utilities/Save Grid to Database.   If you can let us know what you would like to do with the X an Y's from the contours, we might be able to suggest another solution if the grid X and Y's won't do the job.
