Title: Message

This is actually the way the I ended up getting the numbers, once I exported to DXF, it was faster to use AutoCad’s built in inquiry abilities than it was to use the dxf2xyz program (which I have and recommend).

Thank you to everyone, for all the help,

One way would be to export the contours as DXF files and extract the nodes within AutoCAD.

If you have MapInfo it can be done as well, but it's much much easier if you have the Discover plug-in.

Subject: [geonet]: X & Y Coordinates of Contour

How would I go about creating a database of the actual X and Y coordinates of a contour?  The contour gx will give me a visual display of that contour, but how would I go about extracting the X's and Y's from the data?
