Unfortunatly New-Caledonia is too far away for attending to the meeting.
But I'm confident that many other peoples can be better representative
than me (James, Chris, Paul, Jody, Bryce, Ian, etc.).
If a fundation is created and get good acceptance, than I would like to
see them take some control of GeoAPI (together with OGC of course). I
would probably prefer that rather than the current situation, where
GeoAPI tries officially to bring an agreement as wide as we can, but in
practice the decisions are taken by quite few individuals.
