Hi,
the troubles with the javadoc generation (see users mailing list)
were related to a profile we have in the main pom:
<profile>
<id>java5</id>
<activation>
<jdk>1.5</jdk>
</activation>
<reporting>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-javadoc-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<source>1.5</source>
</configuration>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</reporting>
</profile>
it seems innocuous, but in fact it breaks aggregate javadocs
generation, I had to comment it out to generate proper aggregated
javadocs.
I'd say we remove it, or at least remove its automatic activation.
