Just as a reminder, this is something that I (maybe only partially - depends on
the goal) tried to solve as part of the "gt2 prefix removal" branch, but never
got the time to merge with trunk yet. I had a very last issue to solve with the
names of XML modules. Now because it is a few months old, probably more
synchronization would be needed. "gt2 prefix removal" and "svn cleanup" are two
tasks that I will be allowed to continue only after I get out of IFREMER work
(three months late now...)
My intend was to merge with trunk only - now that 2.4 is out, we should probably
keep its module names frozen.

Maybe I'm completly unrealistic, but... could a migration to OSGEO wiki be
desirable?
