Ok, i bit the bullet on this one and just went and updated all the
FilterVisitor implementations as best I could. For some I was able to come
up with implementations based on the nature of the class... and for others
for which I don't know I just made all the methods throw
UnsupportedOperationException.  The current patch can be found here:

Now about gt-temporal Jody has requested that we roll the module into main
and api/opengis. I think I agree... one less module would be nice. I have
not heard back from anyone who has their name on hat module yet so unless
someone objects I will probably try to do that this week.

Oh and also btw, while it is not present in the patch I have also
implemented all the XML bindings for the new temporal classes... The reason
they are not on the patch is because they are mixed in and require a bunch
of changes that are on the current wfs2 branch. So breaking them out into a
clean patch will take some work... will do that this week.
